Spring Is Around The Corner

March 3, 2010 -- The recent rains and spring forecast for a very wet March thru May has us hopeful that the lake will be at a very usable level by mid-May. Currently we are registering 35 feet below spillway, which is a rise just shy of 14 feet since our low point last October. Keep praying for those rains specific to zip codes 78003 and 78056 so they will have a positive effect on the lake.

We've had quite a few dock fishermen the last few weekends, and they've been catching a good mess of crappie. We're keeping live bait in stock, so come on out on a Friday or Saturday evening...remember, the dock fishing is 5-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays only.

We are now taking reservations for Spring Break and Easter. Looking forward to seeing a lot of our old friends this year...it should be a great boating season.
