Somethin's Fishy!

October 7, 2009 -- Well, here's what all you fishermen have been waiting for...the crappie have started. We're ordering extra minnows this week so we can be sure to set you all up. Remember, the dock fishing is from 5-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. See you out here.

Lake level is currently 48.29 feet below spillway, so not much difference there...yet. The weathermen are forecasting a much wetter fall/winter and say it will end the drought, and we're praying they are right. Will keep you posted.

The county-wide burn ban has been lifted, so campfires are once again permitted at the campsites. Reservations not required, but you must be checked in by 7 p.m.
