Happy Easter!

April 4, 2007 -- Well, it's almost here, anyway. We still have space available in most areas of the park if you've been putting off making your reservations. With the recent rains, the lake has come up 8 feet for the current level of 30 feet below the spillway. We are now allowing boats up to 24' with four wheel drive vehicles to launch from our facility. If you have two wheel drive or the boat is larger than 24', we request you launch next door at Red's Cove.

For those of you who are thinking of coming out to camp but still want to do something special for Easter, there's a path between us and the Oasis Bar & Grill and they will be doing their Easter Sunday Buffet from 11-3; regular menu after 3. Also, Red Cove will be opening this weekend, so the hamburger grill on the other side of us will also be available for your camping or boating dining pleasure.

As a reminder to Joe's patrons, thank you for bringing your beverages in cans, not bottles, and for remembering that we no longer allow pets for day users or campers. Also, for the safety of our wildlife, we are not permitting cascarones, but pinatas are ok. (If you make a reservation and for some reason have to cancel or we're rained out, remember to call us and we issue a rain check for same dollar amount useable through the end of this year.)
